fa شناسایی متفورمین و بوپروپیون در دمنوش‌های گیاهی مؤثر بر کاهش وزن و دیابت نوع 2 Detection of Metformin and Bupropion in Herbal Infusions Marketed for Weight Loss and Type II Diabetes: A Cross-Sectional Study تخصصي Special پژوهشي Research مقدمه و هدف: در چند دهه گذشته میزان ابتلا به دیابت نوع ۲ به طور چشمگیری افزایش یافته است که این امر عمدتاً به دلیل افزایش نرخ چاقی می باشد. چاقی می‌تواند باعث مقاومت به انسولین، اختلال عملکرد سلول‌های B و در نهایت دیابت نوع 2 شود. در سال های اخیر، تأثیر محصولات گیاهی مانند چای و دمنوش‌های گیاهی بر چاقی و دیابت بسیار مورد توجه قرار گرفته است. مکمل‌های گیاهی حاوی مواد زیست‌فعال طبیعی هستند که در کمک به کاهش وزن و بهبود حساسیت به انسولین و کنترل قند خون مؤثر می باشند. هدف از این مطالعه ارزیابی وجود احتمالی داروهای غیر مجاز در دمنوش‌های گیاهی مؤثر بر کاهش وزن و دیابت نوع 2 بود. مواد و روش ها: نمونه ها از پنج برند ازدمنوش های گیاهی که به دلیل اثربخشی در کاهش وزن و دیابت نوع 2 شناخته شده‌اند اخذ گردید. در مجموع 20 نمونه به صورت تصادفی از داروخانه های شهر مشهد در تابستان 1403، جهت بررسی وجود داروهای غیرقانونی جمع‌آوری شد. تمام نمونه‌ها برای شناسایی ترکیبات دارویی اعلام ‌نشده با استفاده از کروماتوگرافی لایه نازک (TLC) مورد تجزیه و تحلیل قرار گرفتند. یافته ها: بر اساس نتایج کروماتوگرافی لایه نازک، هیچ یک از نمونه‌ها حاوی متفورمین و بوپروپیون نبود. نتیجه گیری: تولید صنعتی محصولات گیاهی، هنگامی که با رعایت دقیق استانداردهای بهداشتی و مجوزهای مورد نیاز همراه باشد، مزایای قابل توجهی از نظر ایمنی، اثربخشی و اطمینان برای مصرف‌کننده دارد. این اقدامات، کیفیت پایدار محصول را تضمین می‌کنند و همچنین خطر آلودگی و تقلب را به حداقل می‌رساند، ضمن اینکه بستری برای مقررات و پاسخگویی نیز فراهم می نماید. <qb-div data-qb-element="re-enable-flow" style="z-index: 2147483647; max-width: 1px; max-height: 1px; box-sizing: border-box; position: fixed; top: 10px; right: 10px;"> <div><qb-div></qb-div></div> </qb-div> Introduction: Over the past decades, the prevalence of type II diabetes has increased markedly, largely driven by the growing rate of obesity. Obesity contributes to insulin resistance, β-cell dysfunction, and ultimately the development of type II diabetes. In recent years, herbal products such as teas and herbal infusions have attracted considerable attention for weight loss and diabetes management. These products contain natural bioactive compounds that may contribute to weight reduction, improvement of insulin sensitivity, and glycemic control. The aim of this study was to investigate the possible presence of unauthorized pharmaceutical agents in herbal infusions marketed for weight loss and type II diabetes. Materials and Methods: Five commercial brands of herbal infusions claimed to be effective for weight loss and type II diabetes were selected. A total of 20 samples were randomly collected from pharmacies in Mashhad, Iran, during the summer of 2024. All samples were analyzed for the presence of undeclared pharmaceutical ingredients using thin-layer chromatography (TLC), with metformin and bupropion used as reference standards. Results: Based on TLC analysis, none of the analyzed samples contained metformin or bupropion. Conclusion: Industrial production of herbal products, when accompanied by strict compliance with health regulations and manufacturing licenses, provides important advantages in terms of safety, efficacy, and consumer confidence.
